The "Borgo di Coloti" is situated in the Montone municipality (Province of Perugia – Italy), at the height of 487 metres (1597 ft.) a.s.l., between sweet hills and valleys ploughed by little torrents.

The plant consists of 3 buildings which were completely restored in 2000; 12 apartments have been obtained.

Nell’In the wide external area, plunged into a wonderful wood, there is the Astronomical Observatory of the Perugia University; the choice of placing this observatory in Coloti is due to the extraordinary absence of any light interference, which gives the best conditions for observations, even with the naked eye. A paradise for astronomers, students or amateurs.

Coloti, with its apartments, the observatory and a hall for study, can be used in many ways: for simple tourism and for thematic or study holydays, for families and for groups...
